Developing regulatory arrangements for UT6

On 6 November 2024, Aurizon Network informed us that it is engaging with its stakeholders on the development of arrangements for the following regulatory period (UT6). Aurizon Network is intending to submit either a DAAU or a DAU towards the end of 2025 for our assessment.

We are encouraged by Aurizon Network’s commitment, and proposed approach, to engaging with its customers in an attempt to reach an agreed package of amendments to UT5. Building on the commitments established through industry engagement for UT5 has the potential to realise outcomes that are mutually beneficial to all parties.

We will continue to monitor Aurizon Network’s progress in developing regulatory arrangements for UT6 within the stated timeframes.
